Privacy Policy for the Kenzap website and Kenzap Nesting App
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the Kenzap website and the Kenzap Nesting App. As of April 18, 2026, Kenzap Nesting App does not collect or transmit user data to Kenzap.
1. Scope
This policy applies to:
- the Kenzap marketing website and related localized pages,
- the Kenzap Nesting App desktop application, and
- direct contact with us through the email addresses or external profiles linked on the website.
2. Website data
The website is primarily informational. We do not require account registration to browse it.
When you visit the website, standard technical information may be processed by the hosting infrastructure or your browser, such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, requested pages, and basic request logs. This data is typically used for site delivery, reliability, and security.
If you contact us by email, LinkedIn, GitHub, YouTube, or another linked third-party service, we may receive the information you choose to share with us through those services.
If you use the support form on this website, the submission is processed through Netlify Forms. In that case, the information you enter in the form, along with related technical metadata required to deliver and protect the form submission, may be processed by Netlify.
3. Kenzap Nesting App data
Kenzap Nesting App is a desktop application intended to process nesting jobs locally on the user’s machine.
At this time, the app does not intentionally collect analytics, telemetry, personal data, uploaded files, DXF content, job history, or cloud account data for transmission to Kenzap.
DXF files and other working data are handled locally by the app on your device. If this changes in a future release, this Privacy Policy should be updated before or at the time such processing is introduced.
4. Cookies and tracking
The current website implementation is not intended to provide user accounts or in-app behavioral tracking. However, basic browser, hosting, or third-party service behavior may still involve technical storage or network logging necessary to load pages and external links.
The support form also uses spam-protection measures including Netlify reCAPTCHA. Depending on how the service is delivered, Netlify and reCAPTCHA providers may process device, browser, network, and interaction data to help distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse.
5. Third-party services
The website links to or relies on third-party services including Netlify, GitHub, LinkedIn, YouTube, and reCAPTCHA-related providers. If you interact with those services, their own privacy policies and terms apply.
6. Data retention
We only expect to retain information that you voluntarily send to us, or technical records reasonably required for security, delivery, and support. Retention periods depend on the nature of the communication or operational need.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction regarding personal data that relates to you. If you want to make such a request, contact us using the email below.
