I saw from your PDF template at wp-content\themes\myticket\woocommerce-pdf-invoices\templates\invoice\simple\minimal\body.php that “This template can be overridden by copying it to youruploadsfolder/myticket/templates/invoice/simple/yourtemplatename/body.php.”

So i did the above by copying my body.php to “wp-uploads\myticket\templates\invoice\simple\minimal\” but nothing happened.

    P/S: I’m using theme 1.0.7

I also tried placing my template under wp-content/themes/myticket-child/woocommerce-pdf-invoices/templates/invoice/simple/minimal/body.php and it was not read by the theme. It still reads the template from wp-content/themes/myticket/woocommerce-pdf-invoices/templates/invoice/simple/minimal/body.php based on my tests.

Please do not use woocommerce-pdf-invoices as this plugin is deprecated for future releases.

Update theme from this source: http://themes.kenzap.com/myticket/
Update myticket event plugin from this source: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1wdkq3jqurr1swz/myticket-events.zip?dl=0

Use this approach to override ticket design:

Under your theme root folder create myticket-events folder and copy templates from my ticket-events plugin templates folder.

Ok, I’m not sure whether you mean to do the above under your parent theme or child theme, but this is what I did below.

    TEST #1
    -MyTicket Events plugin is deactivated
-Under myticket-child theme root folder, created myticket-events folder and copied email-individual, ticket-general and ticket-individual folders and their files from ticket-events plugin “templates” folder to that myticket-events folder
RESULT: No difference. The ticket PDF is still generated from mytickets theme, wp-content/themes/myticket-child/woocommerce-pdf-invoices/templates/invoice/simple/minimal/*.* files because I edited some text and the changes were reflected.

    TEST #2
    -MyTicket Events plugin is activated
-Under myticket-child theme root folder, created myticket-events folder and copied email-individual, ticket-general and ticket-individual folders and their files from ticket-events plugin “templates” folder to that myticket-events folder
RESULT: The PDF ticket template is taken from /wp-content/themes/myticket/myticket-events/*.* folder. NOT from the myticket-child theme

I’d appreciate if you give more details in your explanation such as,
-Must we activate myticket-events plugin? It was never stated in your theme installation doc that we need this.
-What theme should I’d be running your instruction above, parent or child?
-If you say woocommerce-pdf-invoices is deprecated then where are the ACTUAL template files now and how are they structured?
-Why are there myticket-events folder containing “templates” under parent theme and also under myticket-events plugin? Which is the one being used to generate the PDF? Why are u asking me to copy from the templates from myticket-events plugin folder instead of from parent theme?

Please HELP to answer the ques above and please state the actual folder names in your answers. Paldies!

Meanwhile, may I ask, Is the Location Coordinates still used in your latest theme version 1.0.7?

    Just to recap again,

I tried what u said below.

Use this approach to override ticket design:

Under your theme root folder create myticket-events folder and copy templates from my ticket-events plugin templates folder.

But it didn’t work in the child theme. See https://i.postimg.cc/PrKWZ3Bm/ftp.jpg

The site is still reading from the myticket-events plugin templates folder. FYI, I’m using all your latest files from themes, plugins that u sent me

If you use myticket theme will it work or put templates directly to myticket theme while using child theme?

It’s ok, we decided not to use the child because there’re too many non-standard template files in your theme thus, it’s not as straight forward as just making a identical file in the child. Things are like SiteOrigin widgets, Event Search pages and etc.
