    Two issues.

-I designed like 7 zones and in one zone it has 6 seats. I saved and when I wanted to export, the screen with codes appear but webpage hangs. Chrome says “Webpage is unresponsive – Wait or Exit”. See attached. I kill the pages and reaccessed your website.
-Then when I returned, all the zones were rearranged where each on top of another (stacked). Anyway, I resetted and redesigned like 6 seats in one zone, after that tried to export and screen hangs again.

And I just realized I can’t copy (Ctrl-C) a zone that I drew without messing up my layout. Because if I make a copy of Zone A with 6 seats and name it as Zone B, the original Zone A will also change to Zone B.

How can we easily make duplicates of zones without having to manually draw each zone and allocate seats?

Would be really great if you can video preview how exactly you edit and create zones/seats so we can replicate the problem at our side.

    Here’s the error when copying zones/seats. I pressed Ctrl-C when copying, https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cqjZiGt28p

And this shows where when I copied a few zones and place is a certain locations, after I saved and return to the seat mapping layout, all zones are stacked on top of one another, https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cqjZiJt28G

Here’s the issue where the cursor and the area drawn are misaligned. This might be caused by screen resolution issue, https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cqjZiLt28L

Bottomline is, the current layout system is not stable and I’m afraid to use it to draw a seating layout because it might mess up my entire few days of work. I think you know how difficult it is to draw a large venue.

I hope you can fix those bug above.

    Hi,

The other issues are fixed but there’s a small issue left, https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cqQeixtuzp

Can you please explain what kind of behavior you expect here?

Zones and seat rows work independent of each other. In addition to that, zones may have multiple rows. Thats why you have to set up each row individually.

oK, the prob has disappeared. But now I can’t seem to properly align each seat. After I’ve aligned them it gets messed up again, https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cqQfq6twjr

And it’s hard to ever align the entire row of seats in a straight line, the mouse is just too smooth. Any tricks to do this? Like could the seats snap to a grid?

Automatic alignment might be hard as zone shapes are always different. We will think it over again but this solution will require us weeks of additional development. Will keep you updated regarding the alignment problem.
